Mandy Glinsbockel is an award winning documentary and portrait photographer from British Columbia, Canada. She is driven by storytelling with a focus upon women and girls’ empowerment and resilience. In 2016, she spent 6 months in Nepal where her photographic work in anti-trafficking initiatives & post-earthquake displacement camps was later published by Girls Not Brides, UNICEF and at the Women Deliver International Conference for the advancement of women's human rights.

Her images have been licensed and published by clients such as National Geographic Society, World Vision Canada, Girls Not Brides and within the pages of Photo District News Magazine.

Her passion for advocacy has led her to her current role in fund development & engagement at the Central Okanagan Elizabeth Fry Society, an organization focused on supporting survivors of intimate partner & sexual violence. She is also a Director on the board for HER International, an organization whose mission is to empower women and girls through education, in Nepal, Canada and beyond.

Amidst any of our differing stories, circumstances and culture, there is a core interconnectedness between each of us. It is my hope that my photographs are a catalyst in conveying this connection.”
